Gadget giant, Samsung Electronics announced that the consortium will unveil its first smartphone with flexible AMOLED touchscreens by the second half of 2013. Earlier Samsung reported that the company would be launching its gadgets mated with flexible screens in 2012. The reason that company is forced to delay the production of flexible AMOLED screens is the huge success of its flagship mobiles, especially the Galaxy S3.
Samsung aims a mass market and wishes to chase down its target of 30 million S3s by the end of this year. It clearly reveals how big is Christmas days for the consortium.
When it gets launched in the market, iPhones could be placed nowhere near Samsung gadgets for that it is the most advanced stage of LCD screens at the moment. The first flexible AMOLED phone of Samsung is expected to be come with a 4.5-inch touchscreen.
