With the spectrum auction finally complete, the top telecom operators in India will lose no time in recovering the debts and costs incurred by them. According to the latest reports the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) announced a 12-15% tariff hike. The growing demand for 3G services and the popularity of Smartphones in India will of course ensure continuous revenue but with a huge debt to overcome, customers will be forced to bear the brunt of the price hike.
