LG Handset Leak Again - Rumoured to be Optimus G2

New leaks about an LG handset point to Optimus G2.

Till now, everybody was thinking that the next LG product will be the Google Nexus 5. But, the recent leaks point to the possibility of LG Optimus G2, rather than Google Nexus 5. This, yet to be confirmed smartphone has appeared online.

This is the second unofficial appearance. The first one made everyone think that it is the next Google Nexus product- the Nexus 5. But, this time, the possibilities are higher for LG Optimus G2 rather than the Google product.

The new device that appeared online has no buttons at all. That was why it gave an impression of Nexus 5 from Google. The Google Nexus 4, which had been manufactured by LG was also a button less hand set. The leaked photos of the new handset shows that it will be a real thin phone. As per the reports of the rumour mongers, there are chances that LG might release this smartphone at an event which is to be carried out on May 30.

LG Optimus G2

According to earlier reports, the device was supposed to have a display screen of 5.5 inches size, which was said to be a strong rival to the Samsung Galaxy Note phablets. Though there are rumours that this will be the next Optimus product, the chance for a Google product cannot be denied completely. This new LG smartphone could be the base for the next Google product.

The LG Optimus G2 was supposed to be releasing only by the next quarter of the year. Earlier, there was a rumour that, the next LG Optimus G2 will be having its volume controls on the back of the phone. The same is said about the leaked smartphone. So, there are chances for it to be the next LG Optimus hand set. The device is expected to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The recently leaked photo shows a curved glass, with reflective earpiece.

Whether it is a Google product or not will be known within next few days as the Google I/O will be starting on 15th May. So, if it is a Google product, the company will be announcing that on that event.
