Nokia Lumia 1520 is getting ready for its unveiling in the coming month. If the reports from the rumour mill are correct, the device will be making its official appearance in October 2013. Nokia is in the hot news session nowadays as the company has been taken over by Microsoft. The new device is expected to have a screen display of 6 inches. The device will be available in four different colours – Red, Yellow, Black and White.
Nokia had plans to launch Lumia 1520 earlier. According to the reports, it is the intervention of Microsoft that delayed the launch to the later half of October. Nokia has announced an event on October 22nd via Twitter. If rumours are correct, the event will be hosting at Abu Dhabi. This is the trigger that initiated the rumour about the event being a launching event for the 6 inch phablet from Nokia.
The company has not revealed the place yet, but they have tweeted some snaps, which hint for a Middle East location. The rest of the work was done by the rumour mill. As per the speculations of our rumourmonger team the device will be having a quad core processor with 2 GB RAM. There will be a 32 GB on board storage with a capacity to expand the memory up to 64 GB. The display panel would be Full HD for sure.
Though there are no hints about the camera of the yet to come device, we expect a splendid camera along with the Lumia 1520 smartphone. The Optical Image Stabilization will be there. There is a rumour that the camera of the Lumia 1520 smartphone can capture 5 MP and 16 MP images at the same time. As Nokia has recently released the Lumia 1020, the camera smartphone, there is no greed in hoping for a smartphone with stunning camera features.
As per the rumours, the Lumia 1520 will be launching Microsoft’s GDR3 Windows Phone along with it, which will be adding a third Live Tile to the existing two. It can support quad core processors and Full HD display. This will be resulting in flawless multitasking and splendid visual graphics. These are all rumours and we are yet to get any confirmation or denial of these titbits from the company.
Let's wait for 22nd October, as this will be the first event by Nokia after Microsoft has taken it over.
