Sony Xperia Z5 - All what you need to know

It has been an eventful year so far for Sony with the launch of Xperia Z3 plus, Xperia Z4 and sources confirm that it will be the same throughout with the proposed release of Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Ultra and Xperia Z5 Compact later this year. The Xperia Z3 Plus has just launched and for those of you, who are wondering about Xperia Z4 well the situation is a bit complex. The phone has been only released in Japan, since theirs is the market that demands frequent launches of devices. Even before Z3 plus was unveiled there had been speculations that a very real flagship device is on its way. With the Z4 already available, the Z5 is most likely to be the one. A lot has been speculated about the release, specs and price of this flagship. It is believed that the device will be announced by September at IFA 2015 which is a technology trade event held in Berlin, Germany.



From all the information we mustered it is known that the Z5 is roped in with some exciting new features. Sony is in fact trying to get over all the con's that has been evident in Z3 plus, with the release of this phone. Several months of research and development has gone into the production of this model. A constant complain was the overheating issues. It is said to have been rectified in XperiaZ5 with the introduction of Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with a massive 4 GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 820 processor is a much awaited one and definitely the users will be curious enough to experience its performance. Reportedly said to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and not Android M.

Nothing has been tipped on regarding the display screen except for the Quad HD feature with a Qualcomm Ultrasonic Sense ID fingerprint scanner. XperiaZ5 ultra will be for those huge screen lovers.

The 4500 mAh battery assures oodles of power- so longer hours of enjoying your Z5 without the looming fear of an ever draining battery. The primary camera on the rear will be a 21 MP one and is expected to be the latest Sony Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS sensor, which will also support 4K video recording with HDR facilities. The reversible USB Type-C connector is being used in XperiaZ 5 models.
