The Kodak brand which is renowned for its contribution towards the development of photography has now entered the smartphone arena. While the Kodak IM5 which got launched first under the brand was underwhelming, the Kodak Ektra stays true to the legacy of the Kodak brand and is a camera-centric phone.
The 5.0-inch display screen of the phone has a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system and is powered by Helio X20 2.3GHz Decacore processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. An internal storage space of 32 GB has been provided and the external storage can be expanded up to 128 GB. The functions of the handset are backed by a 3000 mAh battery with 'Pump Express' fast charging support. The primary camera is a 21 megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. A 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture has been given at the front.
