Reports suggest that Sony might be offering a phone that could use a full active QHD display that could cover the entire front of the device. Apparently, the display maker JDI is said to supply the high-resolution bezel-less display.
The company has already made a formal announcement stating that they have initiated a mass production of its full active QHD display, this means that Sony is going be the first to come up with such a breakthrough. Not much is known about the specifications of the phone, what we know so far is that the phone would run on the Android 7.1 Nougat. It is expected to be powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon and Adreno for CPU and GPU.
The phone should also sport a decent storage and memory capacity. The camera quality of the phone should be pretty promising as well. Sony would officially announce the launch and release on 31st of August, 2017, at Berlin IFA.
