The new iPad4 is to be released in February
"With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs," said Mr. Schiller. He continued that "It's clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and every day they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs."
In its features other than the storage capacity, iPad4 will be more or less similar to its smaller brother. The iPad4 is to have an A6X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics and a 9.7” Retina display with a 2,048×1,536 resolution and 264 pixels-per-inch image density. It has a 5MP rear camera that can capture 1080p video and a front-facing 1.2MP camera, just like its previous version, which will be apt for FaceTime and Skype video calls.
The new iPad4 is expected to have the latest version of Apple iOS 6.1, which was released recently. This new OS offers some new upgraded facilities such as LTE support for new countries and the ability for users to download individual songs from iCloud if they have iTunes Match. The iPad4 will come in two different models. One with only Wi-Fi connectivity and the other with both Wi-Fi and integrated LTE mobile broadband. Both these devices will be compatible with Everything Everywhere's 4G mobile network. This new version can easily replace your PC with enough room for even the largest files.
Rumours were there that Apple will look in to an updated version of its iPad Mini. Now it is clear with the latest announcement of iPad4, that the updated iPad Mini might also have this expanded storage memory. So, for those who wish to purchase an updated iPad Mini, its better to hold their breath for some more weeks. By then, hopefully, we will get an updated announcement about Apple's updated iPad Mini.
The iPad4 is expected to release in UK on coming February 5th. It is to come in two different colours, Black and White. The Wi-Fi only model is coming at a price of around 54,000/- Indian rupees. Whereas the other model will be carrying a price tag of around 63,000/- Indian rupees. Both the models will be available in retail mobile outlets and Apple's official website from next week onwards.
