The BB 9720 smartphone will be having a 2.8 inch display screen. It will have both touch screen and QWERTY key pad. The 9720 smartphone will be packing an 806 MHz Tavor MG1 processor. The device will be having 512 MB of RAM, 512 MB of internal storage memory and an expandable memory up to 32 GB using a microSD card. The phone will be having a 5 MP rear camera. But the device will not be packing a front camera.
The new 9720 has some peculiar features like the lock screen swipe, which will enable you to unlock the screen and to have access to the camera. There is also a dedicated BBM and a dedicated BBM button on the side of the smartphone. The BBM Voice of the new smartphone lets you chat over Wi-Fi for free.
The whole device is powered by a 1450 mAh battery. As per the claims of the company, the battery will give you a talk time of 7 hours and a standby time of 18 days. The BlackBerry 9720 smartphone will be coming in five different colour variations – Black, White, Purple, Blue and Pure Pink. According to official circles, the smartphone will be shipping to Asia, EMEA and Latin America in the coming weeks.
