Sony Xperia Z1 Launched in India at Rs.44990/-

Sony's latest smartphone is launched in India. Dubbed the Xperia Z1, the smartphone has almost all the features we expect from a new gen smartphone. Available at Rs. 44,990/-, the device is less priced than the other Xperia smartphones. It looks like Sony has got the pulse of Indian market. If the device had been pinned with a sky high price tag, the Indian market would not have welcomed it. But the price of Z1 is still high, we should say.



The Xperia Z1 smartphone has a 5 inch display. The highlight of the device is its camera. The smartphone comes packed with a huge 20.7 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The trademark of Sony smartphones – the waterproof and dust-proof features - are here in the Z1 too. The device is available in the online and offline markets.



The company is offering an 8 GB free data plan for the first two months to Vodafone customers. Sony had launched the Z1 smartphone at the IFA 2013, in Berlin. The phone has a storage capacity of 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage memory and an external memory expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card slot. There is a 2.2 GHz processor to power up the whole device, and a 3000 mAh battery to charge up the Xperia Z1 smartphone.
