A Dual screen flip smartphone has been launched in India by Samsung the last day. Dubbed Galaxy Golden, the device will be shipping with a heavy price tag of Rs. 51,000/-. The device will be having two 3.7 inches screens.
"While Galaxy Golden's outer screen enables the users to make and receive calls, flipping the phone open brings up the inner screen and a large 3×4 keypad with big and bold keys to help users operate the phone with greater ease," the company said in the official statement. The company hopes that this design will be more useful for the users to handle the phone more easily. The device is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor, coupled with 1.5 GB RAM. The device will be running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System.
As per the claims of the company, the new feature called “hidden receiver” will enable the user to receive phone calls without opening the fold. The feature ensures high quality voice clarity even in the middle of noises.
