HTC Desire 820 smartphone to be launched on September 23

HTC's 64-bit Octa-core Desire 820 soon to be announced in India.

HTC's much awaited 64-bit Octa-core Desire 820 smart phone is expected to be launched on September 23rd. The news about this one has been floating around since August and techies hope that the phone will be launched this time.



It is expected to hit the market at an average price of Rs.26,000. Desire 820 is announced as the successor of Desire 816. As mentioned earlier, it will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Octa-core 64-bit processor with integrated modem. The phone is expected to feature a 5.5inch 720p display along with 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. Camera comes along with a BSI sensor. Other features like Real time live makeup, to even out and set the preferred skin tone during the preview, Face fusion which allows you to merge your features with those of celebrity or friend and Photo booth which captures several moments in a single image are also available.

Along with the Snapdragon 615 processor, this phone will be having 4G connectivity with speed up to 150 Mbps. It is announced to have dual sim capacity and will run on Android v4.4 Kitkat. 2 GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage is available in the phone with expandable memory up to 128 GB. It does have a pompous battery of 2600 mAh.
