Meizu has introduced their first model of the Note series, the Meizu m1 Note this January and now the release of the m2 Note came as a surprise as we feel that its too quick. The m2 Note is definitely an improved variant of the m1 Note. The all new Home button and additional specs has also been included in this version. So lets just dive into the details and see how good the phone is. Priced at Rs. 9,999/- the device will be available exclusively through Amazon from the 10th of August.



The Meizu m2 Note features a 5.5 inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The clear and crisp IGZO display device will be available in Grey, Blue, Pink and white color options. The device measures 150.9x75.2x8.7mm and weighs 149 grams.

Meizu's m2 Note is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor with an upgraded MediaTek MT6753 chipset. The m2 note runs Flyme OS (version 4) based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the storage front the device showcases a 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, the external memory can be expanded up to 128 GB. The dual-SIM based smartphone follows the hybrid SIM slot technology- which means either dual-SIM or extra memory space.

The 13 MP rear camera is equipped with five-element f/2.2 lens, Blue Glass IR filter and a dual-LED flash. The front facing 5 MP selfie camera has an f/2.0 aperture with 69- degree wide viewing angle lens. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 are on board. As of now, the company has not revealed whether the handset supports Indian 4G bands.

The Meizu m2 Note packs in a 3100mAh battery which is a bit smaller than the 3140mAh battery featured on m1 Note. Featuring the new mBack touch-sensitive Home button the Meizu m2 Note offers different functions depending on how hard you press it. It performs the Back function when you soft press it and acts like a home button when you hard press it.
