As far as we could point out, the Z585 has the same chassis as the Z 580. we hope you remember that the main problems of the Z 580 were the less sensitive touch pad and lazy to respond integrated buttons. Unfortunately, these are there in the Z585 too.
Keyboard/ touch pad:
Though the touch pad is not up to the expectation, the key board is awesome. There are enough space between the keys. That doesn't mean that the key board is extra lengthy to accommodate this. The keys are really flat, and easy to use. The keys are slightly curved and deeper than the usual ones. This results in more responsive typing.
There's a skinny numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard, which means the space bar and touch pad are offset towards the left-hand edge of the laptop. This gives enough space for your wrist to relax comfortably.
Display:
The laptop has a display of 15.6inches. It has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. There are some minor drawbacks of the display screen like it is prone to reflection due to the glossy display, and about some uneven back light distribution which results in showing the bottom edge of the screen look brighter than the other parts.
Processor:
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z585 has a 1.9GHz AMD A8-4500M processor. This processor is excellent for games. But the drawback is that the 2D productivity will not be that impressive. This is a quad core processor. It has a RAM of 8GB.
