Finally Motorola is back to the smartphone business. After the acquisition by Google, the firm was not much into the smartphone industry. Well, it's been few days since the company waved for a big name, the Moto G. And it is here. The Google owned firm has unveiled the Moto G. Let's check out what all things are seen with the all new Motorola device. Is it their flagship gadget? Doesn't look so.
Motorola never disappoints with the design. They always keep their standard. The all new Moto G is no different from their standard. It really owns a first class look. The firm has also given a slight curve to the device in order to ensure the maximum friction while the gadget is in the hand. The Moto G comes in a single Matte black colour and what makes the device most attractive are its interchangeable flip cases, which come in blue, pink, red, white, yellow and many more colours.
The Moto G comes with a decent 4.5 inches touchscreen, which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 HD pixels and 329 ppi (pixel per density). This makes the device a premium stuff in the mid-sized smartphone class.
Processor and Performance
Being a mid-sized gadget, the Moto G performs more than that of a normal mid-class stuff with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU. The processor is further powered by 1 GB RAM.
It is run on Google's Android v4.3 Jelly Bean. KitKat fans, don't get disappointed. Google has promised an update to 4.4 KitKat in the coming days. So be patient for few days and blast even further.
You may get depressed here. Motorola offers Moto G in two options – 8GB and 16GB internal memory. Unfortunately, there is no memory expandable option. You can choose according to your pocket. For those who feel 16GB is not at all enough for a mid-sized smartphone will really get irritated by using the very Moto G. Well, if you're OK with 8GB and 16GB inbuilt storage, you can have some chillout. Meanwhile, Google has offered 50 GB storage free on Google Drive for two years.
It comes with a 5 MP rear cam with an LED flash. It offers 4X digital zoom, slow motion video, burst mode, auto HDR, panorama, and tap to focus features. Meanwhile, it has a 1.3 MP front cam on the other side.
The Moto G has a built-in (non-removable) rechargeable lithium-ion, 2070 mAh battery, which is really a handy piece indeed. Motorola offers a mixed usage up to 24 hours with a fully charged cell.
Here you will get wondered. Because, Motorola has priced the Moto G at just $180 in the USA, which comes around Rs. 11,300 in India. This price tag is absolutely without any contract. The pricing will definitely make the device a big success in the market.
Truly, the coming days are of the Moto G. Its better features and great pricing will do it all for the company. Above all it's from Google. What else you want to buy this gadget. Move on and grab one.
