Speculations surfaces on the slimmest phone ever. Here is a take on the news that we managed to get hold of.
The new Galaxy phone A8 is expected to pack a 5.7-inch thus making it the slimmest Samsung phone ever. Even then the slimmest phone is most likely to bundle up impressive hardware beneath the hood including a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 graphics, 2GB of RAM and a finger-print sensor. When it comes to storage the phone has a capacity of 16GB internal storage which can be extended via Micro SD cards. It is reportedly to have a 16 MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing snapper. The 3,050 mAh battery is indeed a massive power capacity.
The probable OS will be Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which would be compatible for the Android M update, which is soon to be unveiled. The 5.7 inch AMOLED screen promises the users an enriching display experience like that of Samsung Note 3. Like Samsung’s other flagship devices, the Galaxy A8 also has the TouchWiz user interface imposed on top of Android. The pricing, availability and release dates are not yet known. The phone weighs at about 142 gms which is quite a decent figure.
The main features that makes A8 a desirable phone is obviously its extremely slim body even with a 3,050 mAh battery, astonishing 5.9mm profile and 16 MP rear camera with real time HDR recording and an f/1.9 aperture lens.
