After launching the Aqua Turbo 4G earlier this year, Intex today launched yet another smartphone with a massive battery, called the Aqua Power II. The smartphone features a 4,000mAh battery.

The talking point of the smartphone is the massive 4,000mAh battery. Intex claims that it is good enough for up to 15 hours of talktime and a standby time of up to 500 hours.

Intex Aqua Power II specifications: The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz Spredtrum SC7731 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

On the photography front, the smartphone features 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, supplemented with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Sashakt, ASKME, Intex Play, Intex zone, OLX, News hunt, Matrabhasa, Native Browser, Clean master, Truecaller, and Lets Buy Intex among others.

The Intex Aqua Power II will go up against the recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice 3, as well as the Karbonn Aura 9, with both boasting a 4,000mAh battery each.
