This phone is LS990 (Sprint version), not D855(Factory unlocked). This phone is currently unlocked and can take any GSM(or CDMA) sim). This phone was initially locked. I have opened the box, rooted it and unlocked it. But I havent used it for anything else (Still has the plastic film around the edges of the phone). The APN settings need to be manually configured for the carrier with which you want to use this phone. However, if you can let me know which carrier it is before your purchase, I can configure it accordingly
