The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is available in three color variants Black, Gold and Silver. The smartphone is expected to be available in the market by mid-2017 and is priced under INR 18000 and comes under the mid-range smartphone segment.
Nokia D1C is a Dual SIM smartphone that supports 4G connectivity and has 3000 mAh battery capacity and supports quick charging. The smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner for security and has a Gorilla Glass 4 for screen protection, and have the latest Bluetooth v4.2 technology. The smartphone comes with an Internal storage of 32GB and can be expandable up to 128GB with a MicroSD card.

Once Nokia was a tech-giant that introduced robust mobile phones with a classy tag "connecting people" to the public when mobile phones were rare to the world. But with the counter-intuitive decision made by the company to turn their face away from the android operating system and emerging trend of tech-world they were down for the last few years. Now with the release of the new Nokia D1C and other smartphones like Nokia 6 and Nokia 9, the company is back in the smartphone business with the introduction of their android powered smartphones.
