Simple definition of 3G

3G

3G is the short form of Third Generation wireless networking technology. The 1G or the First Generation transmitted radio signals as analogue signals. The 2G or the Second Generation transmitted the signals as Digital Signals. When it comes to 3G, the networks support services that provide an information transfer rate of at least 200 kbit/s. That means, high speed data, ease of data accessing and excellent voice quality. These are the features of the 3G network.
