A feature phone is a mobile phone which is priced at a mid-range. It is meant for those people, who want a more advanced phone, rather than a basic phone. A basic phone can perform only simple tasks like making calls and sending messages. A feature phone will have more advanced programmes. It can be used for multi purposes, that too with a price range, which is not too expensive. A feature may or may not be considered as a smartphone.
